Are you ready to quit? Take a deep breath, now follow these 5 steps...


Step 1: Commit

Ok. Are you 100% ready to quit? Are you done? Is there not another puff in your future? Make the decision. If the answer is 100% yes, let's go on to step two...

Step 2: Anger

Welcome to the answer. This is it right here, are you ready? ANGER. Yes, anger. I realized this on accident while on a surf trip in Nicaragua. All I wanted to do was go back to my room...hit my vape, and lay on my bed instead of surfing perfect waves with my brothers and best friends. I got so mad at nicotine that I quit cold turkey at that moment in the water staring back at paradise. How could I have let this thing control my life? I made a decision right then and never looked back. The cravings were surprisingly minimal that day. I couldn't believe it. Everyone was asking me how I quit. I thought hard about that question, and it dawned on me. IT WAS ANGER. It was my secret weapon I accidentally discovered. This is now your secret weapon too. Nicotine is no longer your friend. Not even 1%. It’s stolen your freedom, your happiness, your money, your time, your health and SO SO much more. No more pouches, no patch, no less mg Vape juice, no half cigs, no bumming hits... It’s over. Make a decision right now. Are you done? If yes, let’s move on to step 3.

Step 3: Throw it all away

 Throw every vape, cig box, Zyn box, vape juice, patch, EVERYTHING in the trash.  You don’t need any of that garbage anymore. Don’t even hold on to one for a potential craving. It’s over. If you want it bad enough you can get through a couple of days of pain. It ain’t shit. Pain is required to break free. Remember that. Throw it all away. And embrace the pain of the minimcal cravings that are to come. They will pass. You will live. Are you ready to embrace the pain? Are you sure? Let’s move to step 4.

Step 4: Gratitude

Congratulations. Today is officially day one. You are now a non-smoker! No more sneaking away, no more waking up and turning over to it, no more needing that next hit. Enjoy the freedom, you deserve it. Before you know it you will be at one week, then one month…Remember the ANGER. Remember that you hate it. There is no room for letting it back in. You two are broken up, and NEVER getting back together. The more anger and hatred you have towards nicotine and tobacco, the faster the cravings will go away. It will quickly turn into a surrender filled with gratitude and acceptance for your newfound health. Use this gratitude to keep you moving forward. Stay grateful every morning for your new life, and the release of the shackles nicotine and tobacco had on you. Gratitude. Ok, are we ready for the final step?

Step 5: Track Your Days

Download an app to track your progress. I used “quit vaping” It’s free and works great. Today is day 1. Start the clock and don’t ever stop it. You will now have more time for exercise, eating better, treating yourself better, and most of all, more time to be there and show up for other people. So the time is now, have you made your decision?
